SOL-Professionals Kickoff Reception

SOL-Professionals Kickoff Reception is an event designed to introduce the organization to progressive Latina (o) professionals and the opportunity to be part of an innovative way of social networking based on leadership principles developed by USC’s Dave Logan (David Logan is a USC faculty member, best-selling author, and management consultant who writes on leadership). The dynamic is further enhanced by the use of screens where attendees are able to post messages using Facebook and Twitter taking Social Media to a personal and online dimension all in one room.
The event is produced in strategic collaboration with leading Professional and Civic Organizations.
Event Program for January 21st, 2010 - Downtown Los Angeles:
• 6:30pm Registration
• 7:30pm Social Networking Event.
• 8:30pm Reception featuring Complimentary Premium Wine/Spirits Tasting, Music and Dance Floor.
• 12pm End of Event.
The structured Social Networking event is followed by a reception designed for attendees to feely mingle and taste premium wines and spirits to the sound of music. This part of our program also showcases our proud sponsors, exhibitors and strategic partners.
The purpose of this event is to formally introduce SOL-Professionals to the community, introduce a leadership minded networking model, and ultimately provide an innovative environment where participants can thrive and make connections to further their professional careers. Part of the proceeds from this event will be donated to two important causes; Para Los Niños and The Hispanic Scholarship Fund.
Desired Partners: Association of Latinos In Finance and Accounting (ALFA), Mexican American Opportunity Foundation (MAOF), National Association of Hispanics MBA’s (NASHIMBA), United Latino Students (ULS) and the California Hispanic Chamber.

Who are we? SOL is a networking organization that offers Latino Professionals the opportunity to exchange ideas, build a strong cohesive network, experience unique business and social events, and meet other like-minded Professionals from all industries.
Our Purpose is to propel the success of Latino Professionals.
Our Vision is to create an environment for Latino Professionals that inspires, enriches intellectually, and serves Society. In less than 2 months our membership has surpassed 700 members. Our executive board has national and international presence. We expect our numbers to double first quarter of 2010.
