Gloria en el Mar
San Diego, July 2008/ HISCEC News/ -- "Gloria en el Mar" is a beautiful restaurant located at Playa "Las Gatas" in Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico. "Gloria en el Mar" is the result of the dream that the onwer, German Martinez, had since he was a child growing up in Zihuatanejo.
During our business trip to Mexico we had the opportunity to visit some small and medium size businesses located in the beautiful town of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo.
Zihuatanejo is the fourth-largest city in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. Politically it belongs to the municipality of Zihuatanejo de Azueta in the western part of Guerrero, on the Pacific Coast, about 240 km (approximately 145 miles) northwest of Acapulco. The modern tourist resort of Ixtapa is 5 km away.
Zihuatanejo is the seat of government for the municipality and the principal community in the region. Ixtapa is a government-planned tourist resort that was begun in the early 1970s and constructed on what was once a coconut plantation and mangrove estuary. Zihuatanejo reported a population of 62,367 in the 2005 Mexican census, whereas the population of Ixtapa was 6,406 persons. The municipality of Zihuatanejo de Azueta had a population of 104,609 and encompasses an area of 1,921.5 kmē (741.89 sq mi) Source: www.wikipedia.com
"Gloria en el Mar" offered us the opportunity to taste some of its delicious dishes that they have to offer. We enjoyed the hospitality that the owner and staff provided to us.
The Martinez Family own one of the most known restaurants in town called "La Gaviota" where locals, tourist and celebrities go to eat when they are looking for the best seafood in town. German Martinez has taken years of experience to his own location in playa "Las Gatas". You can enjoy several delicious dishes at very affordable prices.
We want to invite you to visit "Gloria en el Mar" at playa "Las Gatas" if you ever go to Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Gro., Mexico. You will enjoy your time there very much. At HISCEC we want to keep promoting success histories of entrepreneurs. If you want to share your history with the world, please feel free to contact us.
Until next time.
Best Regards,
Jose Aburto
