Description of Classes


Salsa 1:This class is your introduction to basic concepts of lead and follow, footwork, single left and right turns and crossbody leads. Timing and rhythm of the music will be introduced as well as dance holds and proper dance etiquette. This is a series class so we will build on the moves you learn each week. You can join up to the second class session of the month.New material will be introduced monthly.*Reqs:No dance exp. or partner is needed.


Salsa 2:In this class we will teach you combinations using left and right 1 1/2 turns. We will focus on lead, follow and turning techniques so that you can become more comfortable on the dance floor. This is a drop in class so you can join at any time during the month. *Reqs:complete 1 full salsa 1 series or instructor approval.

Salsa 3:In this class you will learn intricate patterns using multiple spins and incorporating styling. This is an intermediate class and a new pattern will be introduced weekly. This is a drop in class so you can join at any time during the month. *Reqs: Instructor approval.
