Tijuana, Baja California, September, 2018. – Aeromexico, Mexico’s global airline, will reinforce connectivity from Tijuana during the holiday season with the opening of three new seasonal routes to Chihuahua, Ciudad Juarez and Culiacan, in addition to reactivating service from Tijuana to Bajio and Durango, following its tradition of serving these markets during the months of December and January each year.

Service on these routes will start on December 14, 2018, and continue through January 7, 2019, with the purpose of connecting families, friends and visitors during the holiday season and the year-end.

Giancarlo Mulinelli, Aeromexico’s VP Sales Mexico, said: “Tijuana is one of the leading cities in Mexico, which makes it a highly dynamic passenger transit zone. In addition, thanks to the Cross-Border Xpress pedestrian bridge, our customers from California are able to easily cross the border directly to the Tijuana International Airport.”

Tijuana is a city with a great tradition that continues to grow and is enriched by the mixture of different cultures, due to its proximity to the United States. Also, as a border city, it has become a relevant point for commercial exchange, while also featuring a variety of interesting tourist sites for visitors to discover, such as the Tijuana Cultural Center, the Morelos Park, Avenida Revolución, and the Wax Museum.
