Businesses may operate in the United States or Mexico, subject to HISCEC membership and verification requirements. For U.S. businesses, verification may include an EIN, business license or registration documentation. For businesses in Mexico, verification may include an RFC or other applicable business registration documentation. Certain businesses or regulated industries may require additional verification.

No. HISCEC supports small businesses from diverse backgrounds. Membership is open to eligible businesses regardless of the owner's ethnicity or background. Businesses join HISCEC because they want access to practical resources, education, greater visibility, business connections and opportunities that can help them move forward. The Hispanic Chamber of E-Commerce was created with a strong commitment to expanding economic opportunity, and that mission is strengthened by bringing businesses, entrepreneurs and partners together.

No. HISCEC supports businesses at different stages of development. Some members may be establishing their visibility and business presence. Others may be looking for customers, improving their marketing, strengthening their operations, exploring new markets or developing new business relationships. The membership levels are intentionally structured so businesses can choose the level of support that makes sense for where they are today.

A business listing is only one part of the HISCEC membership experience. HISCEC is building a business ecosystem where members can combine visibility with education, practical resources, marketplace opportunities, events, business support and connections. Depending on membership level, businesses may also receive coaching, marketing support, promotional opportunities, trade resources, buyer and supplier connections and eligibility for additional growth initiatives. The objective is not simply to list your business. It is to help your business participate in a larger community of opportunity.

Once your membership and business registration are approved, you can begin activating the benefits included with your membership level. Your member experience may include setting up your business profile, accessing member resources, downloading your digital membership certificate, participating in HISCEC programs and events and using the additional benefits available with your membership level. Where applicable, the HISCEC team will provide instructions for benefits that require scheduling or additional setup.

Most digital membership benefits become available after your membership and business registration have been approved. Certain services — such as coaching sessions, marketing consultations, promotional opportunities, connections or cohort participation — may require scheduling, eligibility review or availability.

Every approved HISCEC member receives a personalized digital Certificate of Membership. The certificate includes your business name, membership level, membership year and unique certificate number. Once available in your member dashboard, you can download the certificate as a high-quality file. It is designed to be suitable for both digital display and professional printing, allowing members to display it in their business, office, website or other appropriate channels.

Visibility is an important part of the HISCEC ecosystem. All membership levels provide a business presence through applicable HISCEC directory and marketplace benefits. Additional promotional opportunities are available at higher membership levels and may include featured visibility, newsletter exposure, social media opportunities and other HISCEC promotional initiatives. Availability and placement may vary by program and membership level.

No business organization can responsibly guarantee sales, contracts, financing or specific business results. HISCEC instead works to expand access to the resources, knowledge, visibility, relationships and opportunities that can help businesses become better positioned to grow. The value of membership increases when members actively use the platform, participate in programs, build relationships and take advantage of the resources available to them.

Yes. HISCEC members can access applicable educational programs, workshops, events and business resources based on the program and their membership level. Some opportunities may be available to all members, while others may have capacity limits, eligibility requirements, registration fees or priority access for specific membership levels.

Building useful business relationships is an important part of HISCEC's mission. Members can participate in the HISCEC business community and discover businesses through the platform. Legacy Pro members may also receive access to additional buyer, supplier, partner and strategic connection opportunities when appropriate opportunities are available. Connections are intended to create opportunities for businesses to build relationships; they do not guarantee transactions or contracts.

HISCEC memberships are billed annually. Builder is $47 USD per year, Accelerator is $97 USD per year, and Legacy Pro is $297 USD per year. Membership can be paid securely online using accepted payment methods. Your membership becomes active after the applicable registration and approval process has been completed.

HISCEC membership prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). If you pay using a Mexican bank or card, the final amount charged in pesos will depend on the exchange rate and any applicable fees determined by your financial institution or payment provider. Applicable business and tax information may also be collected during registration for billing or invoicing purposes.

Yes. You may upgrade your membership when your business needs additional HISCEC benefits. When upgrading, applicable pricing adjustments will be presented before the change is completed. If you choose to move to a lower membership level, the change will generally take effect at your next renewal.

Memberships renew annually unless automatic renewal is canceled before the applicable renewal date. HISCEC provides advance notice of an upcoming renewal. If you decide not to renew, you may continue using applicable membership benefits through the end of your current paid membership period. Your previously issued membership certificate will continue to identify the membership year for which it was issued.

Membership fees may be refunded within 30 days of the original charge. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. After 30 days, membership fees are non-refundable, but members who cancel automatic renewal may continue using applicable benefits through the end of the current paid membership period.
