Four adobe casitas built by the owner's father in the sixties and kept, not restyled. High desert means forty degrees of difference between noon and four in the morning, so every casita has both a wood stove and a swamp cooler. The nearest grocery is thirty minutes away; the listing says so because arriving at nine at night with nothing to eat is a bad first hour.
