The business
A studio working in micaceous clay dug under permit in northern New Mexico. These pots go on a flame — that is the point of the clay — and every piece ships with the instructions for the first seasoning, because a pot that cracks on its first use was almost always heated too fast.

The seasoning instructions saved it
I would have heated it too fast and cracked it. The card in the box walks you through the first firing and the pot has been on my burner weekly since.
Glad it helped. Almost every pot that fails, fails on day one.

Del horno a la mesa sin problema. Cuatro estrellas porque no sirve en inducción, aunque lo advierten en la ficha.
