Three years shipping bread by courier
The boxes leave on Tuesdays and Fridays, and saying so on the listing sold more than any discount.
We started shipping in 2023 because a customer in Houston asked and I did not know how to say no.
The calendar is the product
Bread is not a warehouse item. The masa madre decides the calendar, not us, and for two years we tried to hide that behind vague language. The month we wrote «boxes leave Tuesdays and Fridays; order on a Saturday and yours goes out Tuesday» on every listing, complaints went to nearly zero and orders went up.
People do not mind waiting. They mind not knowing.
